How to play (30 seconds)

Guess the hidden 5-letter word in 6 goes. Tap the letters below to spell a word, then tap ENTER. No typing needed, it's all touch.

After each guess the tiles flip and tell you how close you are:

beach

Green = right letter, right spot.

storm

Gold = right letter, wrong spot. Dark = not in the word.

One daily word for everyone, win it for points and your streak. Want another go once that's used? 10 razoos gets you a fresh word, just for fun, it won't touch your streak or points.

Aussie English inside: the word list runs on our spelling, and yes, SERVO, CHOOK and YABBY are in the barrel.

Duel: pass-the-phone two-player, one of you secretly sets a word, the other cracks it, then swap. Fewest guesses wins.

Sixteen tiles hide four groups of four. Tap four tiles that belong together, then hit Submit.

Colours show difficulty: gold easiest, then green, blue, and purple for the tricky one.

One board a day counts toward your streak. Want another go after that? 10 razoos gets you a fresh board, just for fun, it won't touch your streak or medals.

Watch for traps, some words look like they belong to two groups. You have three lives: a wrong guess costs one, and when they're gone the board reveals itself. "One away!" means three of your four were right.

All-Aussie boards: every puzzle is local, no obscure American trivia, guaranteed.

How to play & what counts

The basics: make words from the seven letters. Tap letters (or type), then hit Enter.

✓ A word counts if it:

✓ Has 4 or more letters
✓ Uses the gold centre letter at least once
✓ Uses only the seven letters shown, repeats are fine (e.g. LULL from one L)
✓ Is an everyday English word, Aussie & British spellings (COLOUR, REALISE) and American ones (COLOR) both count
✓ Aussie slang counts too: ESKY, ARVO, SERVO, CHOOK and mates are in the dictionary
✓ Plurals and word forms count: MATE, MATES, MATED are all separate words

✗ A word won't count if it:

✗ Is a name of a person, place, or brand, LONDON, SYDNEY, HOLDEN all bounce (standard rules for this kind of game)
✗ Is shorter than 4 letters, skips the gold letter, or uses letters outside the hive
✗ Is an abbreviation, an acronym, or hyphenated
✗ Is extremely obscure or technical, the dictionary aims for words people actually use

Scoring: 4-letter words = 1 point; longer words = 1 point per letter. A word using all seven letters is a pangram: +7 bonus.

Levels climb with your points: Have a Crack → Warming Up → Solid Effort → Ripper → Bloody Legend → Absolute Weapon. We clock your pace to each level, race your own best.

How a day works: tap Play and the letters appear. Take all the time you like, chip away over smoko. When you're done, hit Reveal & finish and the full answer list shows: green for words you got, coral for the ones that got away (pangrams glow gold). Then that's it: one hive a day, fresh letters at midnight. If a fair dinkum word bounces, that's a gap in our dictionary, not a mark against you.

Play at your own pace. When you're done, hit Reveal, every word shows, then that's it till midnight.

How to play

Six balls drop out of the barrel. Combine them with + − × ÷ to hit the jackpot number.

Tap a ball, an operation, then another ball, the result becomes a new ball. Whole numbers only, no negatives. You don't have to use every ball, and spare balls earn bonus points.

Every board is machine-made and solver-certified hittable, there's always a path. Stuck? "Show a path" reveals one, no points but no shame.

How to play

Trace words through the barrel. Tap letters that touch each other, sideways, up, down, or diagonally, to spell a word of 4+ letters, then tap Clear it.

Cleared letters vanish and everything above tumbles down, opening new paths. Longer words score much more.

The Hiding counter tells you how many words are still findable. One barrel a day, wring it dry, then call it. Aussie spelling counts: COLOUR, ESKY and ARVO are all in.

🪙 0 razoos
How it works

Scratch & Stop. Under the foil on your first three cards of the day: seven coins (1,1,2,2,3,3,4) and two seagulls, shuffled. A card costs 3 razoos.

Scratch one cell at a time. Bank it whenever you like and keep your pile, but scratch a seagull and it nicks the lot. Clear every coin on the card for +4 and the Golden Kanga.

From your fourth card of the day, a third seagull turns up and a 1 coin stands down to make room: six coins (1,2,2,3,3,4) and three seagulls. Same rules, worse odds, and it stays that way till midnight.

This one's a thinking game: the live gull odds sit under the card, so every scratch is a real decision. Everyone gets 9 free razoos a day, unbuyable, no rollover, never for sale, no signup needed.

Odds, printed on the tin: the layout above is the whole truth, every card · live gull odds shown as you go · perfect play averages 2.94 razoos back on a 3-razoo card for your first three, then 2.12 from the fourth card on, once the third seagull lands. Both sit under the price, on purpose: nobody grinds this into a fortune. Full backward induction across every possible layout, not a guess. What skill decides here is how much of your nine you walk away with.

Razoos are worth nothing, on purpose. No purchases, no top-ups, no "limited offers", when they're gone, they're gone till midnight. If scratchies with real money are a sore spot, Gambling Help Online is free, confidential and open 24/7.

🪙 0 razoos
Today's Form

Every razoo you win today counts toward one running total. Hit real milestones in that total and you catch a trophy for it, permanently, whether you sign the ledger or not. Six tiers, calibrated from real simulated play, not round numbers picked for the look of it.

0 razoos earned today

Razoos reset at midnight. Today's Form trophies don't, they're yours for good, the moment you catch them.

Puzzle Trophies

Five of the thirteen daily puzzles already track real performance, streaks, points, solves, so each gets its own three tiers, earned from that game's own numbers: Good Onya, Ripper, Bloody Legend. Permanent the moment you catch them, same as everything else here.

What the ledger actually is

Everyone gets the same 9 razoos a day, no signing up, no gate. The ledger doesn't change that. It's just a name for your history.

Your razoo balance and every trophy already happen either way, the moment you win a Golden Kanga or catch a Today's Form milestone, it's yours for good, signed in or not. Signing just adds a name and a lifetime running total on top of that, so instead of just "you have 4 trophies," it's "Blue Heeler Dave, 4 trophies, 1,340 razoos won since 12 Jul." Skip signing entirely and you keep every single trophy regardless.

Nothing's gated behind it. No email, no password, nothing leaves your phone. Purely optional, skip it and you lose precisely nothing.

Pick a totem, print your name:

The ledger lives in this browser only, clearing site data clears the book, and a new phone starts a fresh page.
